Each Scholar receives a dedicated Educational Counselor (EC), with whom they will meet with for at least 10 hours each term.
ECs develop strong relationships with their Scholars to help them understand how to "hack their brains" to support robust learning, strong academic performance, improved attitudes toward school, professional skills, and the development of goal-oriented growth mindsets.
Your EC will work with you to design and implement interventions – structured changes to the way one approaches situations and tasks – that support you in developing the personal habits and self-advocacy skills you’ll need to achieve your most important goals.
ECs actively partner with Scholars to ensure that new strategies are learned, implemented, evaluated, and modified effectively. ECs also coordinate support across caregivers and school professionals.
ECs act as a beacon of guidance, working as academic advisors and personal mentors. ECs nurture Scholar's growth as resourceful self-advocates and support their post-secondary goals.
